Is it a feeling that men just aren't there for you? What?

Don't get this wrong, it's meant nice and all.

Yea, that all makes sense. Yea, so basically when a dude looks at another dude and thinks, 'he's beautiful like a deer' then that's exactly what a gay dude sees. The beauty that is.... Makes sense now.... Or 2 girls, same thing.

I like women for the same reason straight men do, we're amazing, beautiful and sexy. Does there need to be any other reason?

I'm sure for some women it is the 'emotional support'. For me (bisexual) though, it's all about their bodies. They look attractive and they turn me on. They have fun parts! I tend to approach both men and women differently only in terms of that physical attraction- for the emotional part, I don't see categories of 'male' and 'female', but rather every person as an individual. But that's just me.

I have dated two x lesbians and talked to them about their lifestyles and yes the emotional is more important than the sex but also dated a girl that was in a three year relationship with another girl actually lived as a couple and said she found that she liked men better..the other one finally went back to her female lover..although she enjoyed being with me.. she said that she was very much in love with her x partner..

Well, it depends on what the person attracted to the same gender wants from the other person. It could be anything or everything. I would say, we were all born to think one way, but our surroundings changed us. Surroundings as in, the people we talk to, what we were taught to be right or wrong, etc...

I am bi. I adore both men and women. sometimes i lean more towards guys sometimes more towards chicks. i adore them for different reasons. for me its because they are soft, i feel like i am more on the same level as a chick, mentally and emotionally. not only that but chicks...we kick ***. we can carry the whole damn world on our shoulders and not break a sweat. not saying guys don't do it, they just do it differently. also its the intimacy. its like being intimate with my best girlfriend. you get the whole package. thats what makes another woman attractive to me.

I imagine it's everything a heterosexual finds attractive in an opposite sex partner! I think it's a "package deal".

well, I'm a gay man..but I think I can answer this one for all of us. We don't know why we find the same sex so attractive. It seems as normal to us as heterosexual behaviour does to you.
