Nothing soars higher than love so I'd have to say a feeling. Your ideas and feelings can soar as high as you let them. Some people limit themselves. They restrict their imagination & can't accept possibilities. They hold back & stifle their emotions & don't let themselves feel.

When you are truly alive, your feelings & thoughts can fly.

A feeling can soar impossibly high, reality doesn't limit feelings the way laws limit ideas.

I must begin by saying that this is an unlikely comparison in my understanding; in my view, feelings and ideas are not two separate entities in human mind; they both soar high in the mind together, hand in hand. Our feelings are what make any ideas human ideas; feeling is all about being human. Whereas ideas, when considered distinctly and purely, represent intelligence but intelligence is found in abundance everywhere in general nature; plants, animals, even soap bubbles are intelligent but they do not feel, not at least as we do.

I like to say that feelings are like flowerbeds in which ideas grow; where heightened feeling give birth to high ideas and low feeling give engender bad and low ideas, both ideas and feelings are complimentary at all levels, or states of mind. But if so, then what is the point of the question, and why do feelings called feeling and ideas, ideas, is the question?

The aspect of mind associated with human interaction is generally considered as a feeling mind, and the related state, a state of feeling. We can have ideas, for example, about our work, our interests and pursuits in life, but we try to be as objective in our approach to all things non-human. However, if we look carefully then we can see that it is very likely for us to feel passionate about even unanimated things, or about life in general, about the universe and wonders of nature. The point is that feelings in human mind can exist beyond the realms of human collectiveness; for example, we can feel sense of wonder, curiosity and amazement about things seen through science; we can feel perplexed upon the question about life, the instances are many.

This could also be the fact that at a very high level of mental abilities heightened feelings can only be expressed as ideas, supreme ideas. How would you, for example, make someone feel the love of God, or even the love of someone you loved intensely? And then at the same time there are some ideas that can only be expressed in form of feelings; and I think, this is what someone would choose to do when trying to answer above questions.

The fact of the matter, and almost that of the every matter in human consideration, is that nothing is essentially distinct and isolated in existence - no person, place or a thing; all things are known and experienced with existential reference to all other things in being; things only seem to be different and distinctly unique because we see them whereas in essence there might not be many things in the universe, but just one. All thing contain all other things in existence for them to exist: the Moon, for example, include in its beings the Sun, the Earth, the stars, the creation, the space, the location, the orbit, the motion, an eye to observe, a mind to appreciate and a heart to feel - when we see the Moon we see all these things; then there are flowers, they are beautiful, and intelligent, all at the same time; then there are trees and the entire magnificent universe.

I think it would have to be feeling. You can't feel the same way about an idea as you would about love or death of someone very close to you.

it depends on the situation. A feeling lasts only a short while (falling inlove, seeing a stunning man etc) but an idea can make you super rich!
