He will start this habit by telling the mangement how bad this worker is or how rude he/she is.find faults in my dept.Worst he kept telling us what to do (even he was not our supervisor)If we dont follows as what he says he will intimidate us by all sorts of means.I loves my job and we all are ata lost as to how to deal with him?.(We did try to approach the HR but they claimed they cant do anything cos he is a MANAGER) PLS HELP AND ADVISE.THANKS

The good news is that you and your coworkers know what this guy is like so you can be aware of that when he comes snooping. I think your best bet is to be professional and polite to him when he is around and document anything that happens while he is there or anything he seems to be unhappy with. It's called cya.....cover your as#. There are people like him in any place you go so handle him in a professional manner and maybe you won;t have problems with him. It sounds like you and your coworkers are a united front so not to worry.

I think you can't do much except keeping a distance away from him. There is such people in every company and you will meet them in any orgainsation. The main thing for you to do now is just to keep your job first as it is diffcult to get a job that you are happy with.

You just have to ignore him, people like him is quite pitiful actually, as he got no friends in the company. So, why not just leave him alone. As you won't know, it's the other depts staff whose are backstabbing him.
