Hi, I'm having a leg cramp. What's the most effective way to stop it without going overboard with things like medicine or herbal stuff.

eat some bananas right away. it usually helps me at night. magnesium helps, you can find it in greens, grains, meat and fish, bananas, apricots, nuts, and soybeans.

stretch before you become active. (i touch my toes before i get out of bed, just one quick stretch usually ensures a painless day) and drink lots of water.

It's not a lot to do. trust me, i'm the laziest person on the planet.

Calcium Magnesium zinc pills; one three times daily with meals.

Getting cramps is a sign that your body is lacking potassium. Your diet should include fruits such as bananas or vitamins that are rich in you guessed it potassium.

you need an isotonic drink to replace the salt in your body that you've lost through sweat (perhaps). You can buy isotonics in sports shops or general stores probably.
