I hope all other Americans see this, AND REMEMBER IT ! the next time the sh-t hits the fan, and American planes are air lifting in TONS of free aid around the clock, and we make our "Emergency services" available to the world at OUR COST, and yet we always stand alone ! This is what the world thinks of us ! Yet they always have their hands out for help !

Actually the USA have more oil than they'll ever need, that's why a lot of Americans are against having troops overseas to protect their oil supply.
I'm an European, and I'm been living in the States for almost 21 years now, and there are several things that I don't like/approve, to mention some of them:
Its legal system sucks! Victims have no rights in this country.
Its known to be the "Land of Freedom", far from it! They need to revise the word freedom.
Elderly people, poor people, Armed Force Veterans are treated as lesser beings.
They spend billions daily to have troops overseas, when there is 10 millions people starving to death every day in this country, or dieing because they can't afford health care. Sorry but I feel that a country needs to take care of its own first, before taking care of the needs of other countries.
Respect: there is none here.
And for those reading this and thinking:" well, want you go back home" I'll answer that right away: this is my Home, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it, nor approve of everything that goes on in it!

Nyara and Trucker: If you read through the comments carefully, without paranoia, no-one on this thread is criticising individual Americans. It's rare to hear Europeans (certainly in the UK) criticise the people, but not at all rare to hear Americans saying every other country in the world is jealous and looking for 'hand outs'.
I hate Bush and his ilk, but I do not hate Americans in exactly the same way as I hated Saddam but not individual Iraqis and I hate al-Qaeda but not all Muslims. If America wasn't so defensive when it came to its international image, maybe relations between America and ther world would be better.

I like the way that most "self-help" books come from the US,a lot of positive thinkers there!But I cannot understand why they seem to come across as if they "feel sorry" for me just cos I'm not American.There's no need for that.They really do seem deeply convinced that they are "luckier" than everyone else just because they are American and I'm "only" a European.Thankfully,the amount of Americans who now see through all this has now risen,and it's just a pity that a lot of their countrymen will not listen to them!

Americans are the English's partners in war together we can take on whatever crap is thrown at us!
I know we make out that we hate each other but we are always made welcome in each others Countries and need to remember that we have always been there for each other when we are in trouble!

My girlfriend is American but that doesnt mean I have to approve of the whole 'With us or against us' thing.
Theres a difference between a goverment and the people of that country.

I'm italian sorry for my english.I think US is very developed in technology,media art.It's a big country with very nice panoramas.But there's too much criminality and its government is very disgusting because support the fascist country of Israel and attack many countries only for economic interests.(oil)Africa South America could be less poor if America companies especially oil companies don't go there and colonize them.

Well I tell you, I live in the U.S.A. and I love it. I hate Bush!! I will be glad when he's done. He has caused enough trouble! But I wouldn't want to live any where else!! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! We always come to the defence of the underdog! We don't stay home and sit on our butts!

I dislike America as a country,but
I have to live here.I totally hate Bush
and his tiny mind.If I actually had enough
money,I would move elsewhere,probably
Europe.Everyone I know here
are nice,though.McDonalds makes
