What are the best and worst seasons of Saturday Night Live?

The best season was 91 when they had Sandler, Farley, Spade, Myers and Hartman. The worst season in my opinion was 04-05 with nothing else coming close.

Best: Season Three when Belushi, Ackroyd, Chase, Radner, Curtain and Murray were all making a name for themselves. I think it was 1977.

Worst: I think it was 1980, early Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo when they had to fire the rest of the cast because the show really stunk. They built the show around the two of them and the new memebers Dreyfus, Gross and the rest became instant successes with the two guys as leaders. By 1981 the show was back on it's feet. Of course when that group left there was a series of good acts to follow, Myers and Carvey, Phil Hartman, Sanders, Ferrell, the list goes on and on.

This year is bad but it is being held up by the hosts so far.

In my opinion, all the seasons with the original members like Aykroyd, Belushi, Radner, Curtin. The worst I think is this season. They can't even make do as much as a chuckle...pathetic, and this is a girl who laugh at mostly anything!

The best seasons are when Christopher Walken hosts.....the early 90's had the worst episodes. I agree with the other response. There are no good or bad seasons, just episodes.

My favorite seasons are when Chris Farley,David Spade,and Adam Sandler were all on together.

Winter & summer respectively,as the cold & wind allows one to
cuddle;whereas the hot & humidity of summer makes ones over-
heated-physically & mentally.It's quite overbearing!!!

depends on who is hosting, who the group is, and how good the writers are.

there are no good or bad seasons. it's a matter of good or bad episodes.
