Good spelling for starters.

You start with an idea, which eventually will form into a coherrent plot. Tell the story, let the characters speak to you, sometimes what they do won't make sense, but go with it, eventually you'll have a story or novel. Once you've completed your story, let it sit for a bit. I would suggest having strangers (ie not family or friends) read a finished draft. Rewrite, listen to advice and rewrite some more.

Eventually you'll have a "finished" product. Then the real work begins. Finding a publisher that will want to buy your work and publish it.

Good luck

steps involved are quite simple... find a concept... write a story..and break it down into chapters ... just write the way it comes in your mind. keep refining it and editing it until you think its perfect! what's the best way to write a book.. considering a book can be written in a million ways...? you write it the way you intuitionally feel is the only way of writing it... writing happens more intuionally.. and subconsciously.. you gotta really connect with your subconscious and really trust your instincts... good works come only from the depth of the heart.. dont try to write the book.. rather let the book write itself!
write the book the way you would want to read it!
thats the most difficult part.. once that's done.. send your manuscript to publishers .. if they like your work.. they will take care of editing and so on.

hope this helped. all the best.

I joined the publishing house , contributing short stories and members conferred that we will book bound our stories. So, editors are available. But if you are still novice, you can approach a publishing house.

Having an idea for a story, researching your information, writing it and finding an agent to try to sell your book to a publishing company. I wish you luck. It's hard to break into publishing.
