Well me and my wife are both in the military, right now I am in Iraq and get back around Julyish. She leaves for Iraq around Julyish so we will be apart for 2 years, unless she gets extended, could be longer. I have been away from her for about 6 months now and they only thing that makes me go crazy is the thought i still have another year and a half or so until I can kiss her sweet lips or just hold her close to me. So I guess I am a wuss by saying 6 months, but we have been married 8 years and the longest we have been away from eachother has been about 7 months then see eachother for a few months and do it over again. Isn't military life fun.

Well i didn't think i can do it but I've stayed away from my husband for 9 months during our engagement, i lost it every now and then, i used to call him crying a lot, specially after going out with friends and getting buzzed, it wasn't fun. And now it's happening again he has to go away for 6 months. I'm not looking forward to it but i know i can make it.

For 5 years we work opposing shifts because our children were not in school yet, so we saw eachother for 30 minutes a day. I was insane for 5 years...

I'm one of those weird people who really like being alone. My husband is the more needy one. While I do love him very much, I would be just fine on my own for the rest of my life.

No problem! Everytime we don't get to meet each other we would call each other through handphones! I still do miss my boyfriend but the feeling lessens!
