Physically, the first thing that happens is you eliminate your bladder and bowels and your body starts to decompose from there. Your liver temperature drops and lividity starts to set in (purplish coloring on the side that is face down to gravity).
Metophorically, it would depend on what your personal beliefs are; mine is is Jesus and that I will be able to visit God through his sacrific.
