Of course they will ride in them---but they will never drive them to a picnics. By the time they figure out who will be the designated driver their life cycle would have ended and the new ants never got the invite or directions. This could be why "fire ants" swarm the way they do--they just want to get going ,but don't know where--but sure are not going to wait for a designated driver vote

The ants can't reach the pump to gas up their cars. How can they refuel on the way home from the picnics? The Answer to this is electric powered little cars. this way they get to have the fun of driving to the picnics while protecting the enviornment.

No because they will die of old age (for an ant) standing in line at the drivers' license office of the Motor Vehicles Department.

you'll have to charge them $$ so you can build an infrastructure(state and local govt, buildings(dept of motor vehicles), highways and side streets, schools and houses, make sure they are legal citizens) or they can go back to the USA and get all that for free.

Yes but it takes very tedious frustrating training to teach them how to drive.
