Latino singer Shakira recently revealed that she is horrified every time when she is compared with the pop princess Britney Spears.
"I'm very shy of my body. The most I can show is my belly. I admire people who can do nudes for the love of art. I can't. And I wear enough to cover what my mother wishes I cover."
Shakira can't understand why the American and British press compare her to Britney Spears. The singer says she is not subject to such comparisons in latin america
She says, "My Latin people understand me little by little with each album. They don't compare me to Britney, you know.
"They'd be like, 'What? Britney?' Nothing wrong with Britney, she's a great artist and very beautiful, but I was pretty surprised to be compared to her in America and Britain."

I know, Shakira is way different from Britney. Shakira has more talent in her little finger than all the Britneys of the world have combined. She is much more than a pop singer too, she sings a lot of rock, and also beautiful ballads. Plus, she is self-made. She can also carry a world tour all by herself (plus her amazing band), WITHOUT backup dancers and the like.

Although her shy routine is pure BS, Shakira is not the dumb pig that Britney is.
When dolled up, Britney has a prettier face. I like both of their songs, but feel Shakira has more talent.

i think shakira can be the latin britney, not for her actitude, but for her fame, shakira is very succesful almost like britney, so thats the real comp.,. not that they look-a-like or something haha.
