I don't think it's very common but if it works for both of you what the hell. No experiences but why is it so important to you of what other people think? You aren't doing anything immoral, you're having sex (have fun with it). I think if you care about each other that much then go ahead and it's no ones business but yours.

okay, i can aswer your question but first, I must ask you, how common is it to have sex with an absolute stranger ? As a man, I dont care. But I dont find many women who feel the same way. Most women will only have sex with someone that they know. However, us men, well sex is more of a physical thing. Like a hug or a handshake, except it is only done in close proximity and when you are naked. It doesnt mean that we are promiscuous, it just means that we are more intuned with ourselves to not delude or over emphasize that sex is the melding of souls. Its a simple physical exertion. It ends with a climax, and that is our goal. This is why we can climax with just about any woman, anytime. Just because we climax, doesnt mean that we are in love. I hope that my long drawn out answer clarified more than just your question.

It's pretty common. It usually ends up not helping people get back together. I think most people do it as a final goodbye sometimes. Something to gain a little closure I guess. I've done it, and it didn't work out, but it's almost like weaning yourself. Like quitting smoking, you just cut down and then you quit. You knew it was bad for you in the first place.

Yes, it is common. I don't know if society thinks it's good or bad but I did it and it was great! We did it for awhile until we sort of weaned off each other and started dating other people.

very common its just like you meet up accidentally and the familiarity thing but 9 times out of 10 i would say its kind of a real goodbye shag.

lots of people will have sex with an ex because it's a safe way to get laid without a hassle...you both know it's over, she knows she safe, it's familiar, and somewhat comforting because you know you don't have to worry about std's. But don't do it if you've already started dating someone else, or if he has. No need to be a homewrecker....

depends on if u loved them alot, and there was still a connection. my first ex use to come by years ago, and we would become romantically involved, still was quite young, still loved him, always will, but second ex, forget it, have bad feelings toward that one, having to do with the way he treated me. but i do believe that it is quite common if u still love them and they love u. but not if there is no love there.
