(-: I think Japan is made up of a lot of itty-bitty cultures. Some are totally mind-boggling, some are OK, and some are really scary. On many different levels.

What I love about Japan is the general safety of living here. And they have a wonderful sense of the artistic that they have no trouble bringing to everyday life (arranged flowers on the bureau, light airy rooms, things like that). And the toilets! You have never seen such toilets as are available in Japan! Some make you laugh, some make you cry, some are very surprising toilets indeed.

There's a lot to like about Japan. There are problems, just like any other country, but in general, I'm happy I'm here.

Hi staceylyn!!!

I think Japanese culture is a pretty solid one. What I like of it is their dynasty. Pretty impressive architecture, art is fabulous, food delicious, beautiful country sites and I haven't even start with their fashion!!!! From so elaborated make up, cloth and hair styles!!!! WOW!!!!

Now to the good stuff!!! Sex!!! AHA-AAA!!!! Japan is know as the country (or at least one of them) most famous for it's intricate sexual artistic positions. Some stamina and good balance needed for it!!!!

Yet like in most countries, the least I like is the lack of acknowledgment for women in general!!! Even with positions and wealth, Japanese women have a long way to go!!! SAD TO SAY!!!! Is the whole world loss, NOT to give the women the importance and respect they the need to earn so hard!!!

But JAPAN without touching the politic aspect which is one of the toughest; I think could easily be one of the most beautiful countries in the world!!! I'm NOT Japanese. Although they kind of scream when they speak(scary), (lol) as long as you don't break any laws, and don't through garbage on the streets, you'll be find!!! Ah!!! Keep your passport on you where ever you go!!!

HAVE FUN!!! GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

It is a fascinating culture and I find the geishas to be fascinating and it is an ancient culture. It is an overcrowded country, with a lot of pollution but the food is wonderful and the shopping is great and also the people are nice. Japanese is a hard language to learn howver, at least it was for me.

I like the strict code of honor that they have. I also like their educational system. They go to school 1-8 and their high school years are only 3. Here is the best part high school is not mandatory and they must apply for acceptance, 97 percent of people that finish the 8th grade enroll at a high school level. I wonder if that same system was in the US how many would actually enroll in a high school. Because of their limited land, they build malls underground. One thing that I don't like is that when you go to a restaurant you must slurp your food to show that you are enjoying your food. That's a no-no for me, but hey you gotta do what you have to do.

I hate how they portray blacks in their comics.

Other than that they seems pretty cool. I hardly know anything about their culture though
