My fiance and I are getting married next friday. She has the most beautiful green eyes, but they almost always look brown in photos. Is there any way to avoid this? Like maybe a different color make-up or something? She's asked me for help, now I'm asking you, coz I have no idea. How can we get her eyes to look the beautiful shade of green they really are in photos?

I have this problem too, BUT if it is professional pictures than they should be able to pick up the green in her eyes. To make her eyes stand out more though, she should use a dark plum eyeliner on her toplids, instead of black. And either a plum eyeshadow, or a roseyplumish....basically anything purple or plum that isn't to bold or to soft!
Then also put the plum eyeliner under your eye, but very lightly and sweep a lil of the shadow under your eye too, just a touch. Then use black mascara and don't for get to touch up your eyebrows (I'm not sure what color they are) because it makes your face look more open.
Anyways these colors make green eyes POP. If this is too confusing you could go to Dillards or somewhere where they do makeup and have them help her pick the right colors for her eyes to stand out. Either way good luck! GREEN EYES ROCK!!!:)
Oh and If ALL Else Fails, just have her eyecolor digitally enhanced in the pics. later.

Nearly all photographers are using digital cameras these days. The photographer can go in and digitally edit the photos to match her true eye color. If they are still using the old fashioned cameras with film they can still have the lab edit the photos. Talk to the photographer they usually don't charge much at all especially if it's something as simple as fixing her eye color. My brother in law is a photographer and it's simply AMAZING what they can do now days to digitally enhance a photo.

A lot of the time it depends on the camera you use. An everyday digital camera won't pick up the same colors as a professional camera. If you are having a professional photographer photograph your wedding be sure to ask them to focus on bring out the color of her eyes. A good photographer will know how to use his/her camera and the natural and artificial lights to bring out such aspects.

You can ask the photographer to touch up her eye color in the photos.
