whereas i have a hard time walking or standing. two days ago i thought she was going to come but after sitting for a couple of minutes she settled down. Is this normal?

Honestly, when I was 5 months I would get minor pains like that too. Sometimes bad enough to make me cry. I asked my mom about it (she has 6 daughters, 5 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons, expect she would know) well she told me that she use to get them with me, when she ate peanut butter. It could be something you are eating....but....I use to call my doctor just to be reassured.

definitely NOT!!! please seek medical advice immediately.. 5 months is not a really good age for a baby to live should he come out.. make it to at least 36weeks.. i think you have to get yourself complete bed rest..
dont shrug off the pain that you feel.. it wont be good for you or the baby.. maybe you'll be needing drugs to prevent the contractions..
just please go see your obgyn..
