Wouldn't there be a site for people who are interested in networking?

It's hard enough to work with partners that you know without even considering taking on partners that you don't know. Networking is great for attracting customers but when it comes to partners proceed with extreme caution and get everything in writing with an attorney.

my question is -- why do you want to find some to start a business with? is it to have someone to split start-up costs or for someone who has more knowledge than you about a certain business. i would start locally, if you really want a partner -- check with your local SBA -- i would almost guarantee there is some sort of small biz networking group in your town or city -- try asking some of the small biz in your area that has a biz similar to what you are wanting to start -- do a little searching on the net and i'm sure you'll find plenty of chatrooms pertaining to what your interests are
