So how do I change the internet options, where they won't look at porn? Everyone uses my computer but I only let my mom get on it so she can check her emails. But she would be in a hurry sometimes and leave the computer on, and we have lots of boys in the house that keeps coming in my room and watching porn. I wish I can lock my door, but it can unlock and my stepfather won't do anything about it -.- So again, how do I block porn sites? Or is there any other method? Thanks

Oh and I don't want to use any money o.o I'm not mad because of viruses, I'm just mad that these young kids would keep looking at so much porn on my computer, that's all. My computer does have a password, but like I said my mother leaves the computer in a hurry and leaves my computer vulnerable.

Your Mom and Step Dad are showing a lot of irresponsibility. I’m sorry that you have to be the responsible one in this matter.
I use Internet Explorer 6 and this is what can be done with it. I imagine that IE 7 is not much different in this matter.
1) Near the top of your screen you will see the word Tools; click on that.
2) When the menu comes down, click on Internet Options.
3) At the top of that message box you will see the word Content; click on that.
4) You should now see a box that reads, Settings; click on that.
5) You should now see a box that reads:
RASCi
Language
Nudity
Sex
Violence
Click on one at a time and set the level to 1. That will prevent them from accessing websites that use curse words, show nudity and sex acts and websites that contain violent content.
6) After you do that, at the bottom of the message box you will see the word Apply; click on that,
7) You will now be asked to set a password.
8) After you set your password, the Content Advisor will be in Enable mode and the box will read Disable. Only click on Disable if you want to turn Content Advisor off. That will allow others to visit any website they want.
9) At the bottom of the message box you will see the word Close; click on that and you're done.
That should stop the less knowledgeable users from visiting porn sites.
To turn the Content Advisor off or on again:
1) Repeat steps 1,2 & 3.
2) When you see the box that reads Disable, if you click on that, it will allow those websites to be viewed. If it reads Enable and you click on that, you will allow them to view those negative websites.
After you set the password, whenever anyone clicks on either Disable or Enable, they will be asked for the password.
You may still want to try some of those software programs others recommend but if what I told you works against them, save your money.
As long as they don’t get the password, they can’t visit any porn sites.
If they know how to access the hard drive and find the password file then you may need to heed the instruction of others and install specific software to prevent them from visiting those negative websites.
I hope this helps.

#1 I would install a firewall program then have it "lockout" the internet if left alone for longer than 3 minutes this means the firewall setting would lockup the connection after the browser has been idle for 3 minutes without keybourd interaction.
or
#2 Get rid of the computer and tell your mom that the boys stole it and sold the parts because you refused to let them watch porn on yor system. That will make her mad at them then she might engage in a "crackdown" on the undesired behaviour.
In any case you should call the police and tell them that your stepfather is allowing underage male children to misuse your computer to watch illegal material's. Then when they showup and take the computer as evidence, Tell the family that you will not be able to buy another computer until you move out. then let the chips fall where they will. GOOD LUCK your gonna need it.

The best way would be not to have the password to the internet automatically typed.
You should set up you connection so that you and your mother type the password every time you wish to use the internet, and that it automatically disconnect after being inactive for a while.
I is usually very easy to configure that, give you ISP a call they should be able to guide you. I can't give instructions for that because the way of doing varies depending of the kind of internet connection you have.
Another option to lock the computer is to use the password feature of windows' screen saver, locking the computer when it is not in use (preventing that they use cd's also)

Set your screen saver so it requires a password to bring the screen back on. Set your computer to sleep or hibernate and require a password to come back on.
