Poverty originated in the occasional illnesses which prevented people from gathering or working for food for a considerable length of time. Then it grew when others prevented some from availing of work opportunities. Next followed the deliberate snatching of work or other resources belonging to some by others. Large scale variations of these causes led to large scale poverty.

And none in others
No resoucres for expansion, so no way to form a flowing and successful economy. Thusly we have poverty.
