Not all people need to have it removed I am 22 and still have mine some people get appendicitis which is an infection of the appendix and then it needs to be removed as the condition is very serious and the appendix could rupture. Don't be worried about it you may not get appendicitis ever but if you get severe pain in your left side fever and nausea/ vomiting see a doctor immediately.

The appendix doesn't have to come out. I know quite a few people in their 70's and up that still have theirs.

Your appendix does not have to come out unless you have a medical problem with it. Not need to wait any longer.

Your appendix will only need to come out if it gets infected. Otherwise, it can stay in your body forever.

You only need your appendix out if it is diseased or damaged. That can be at any age.

Most people never have to have their appendix out. It's not a time bomb unless it becomes infected and ruptures, which happens randomly to some people.
