How should I let go of a suicide. I didn't know the guy this year much, I only saw him at school. Yet when I was in his class last year he was really nice to me. Now I'm wondering if I wasn't really nice to him cause he would always be the one talking to me first and always saying hi to me.I feel awful for being sad about it but not being his friend this year cause if I said hi to him or something maybe it would've changed something. He was a guy who was friends with everyone and probably one of the nicest people at school. It was absolutely terrible seeing him on the news and reading about it. He was in a euphoria, no longer was interested in anything but was happy, while he was planning to jump off the golden gate bridge.. He needed help. No one really understands why he did it. Whenever I talk about it with my sister, she thinks I should just get over it cause she never saw him and doesn't care, is she right? Because I still care. Its a sin to suicide, I feel so bad if he's in hell.

Well,hun...It sounds like you have the gift of empathy. (I do too) You should know it was not in anyway your fault. You have no way to predict the future.
We also do not know what kind of relationship he had with the Lord. I don't want anyone to go to hell,either. But let's leave the responsibility of that decision up to the Lord himself.
Your sis may mean well..but it is better if you talk it out. How would you say his suicide affect you?? How did it make you feel?? There is nothing wrong talking about these feelings!!

awwwwwwww i think that is so sweet i think that if he was still alive he would be soo proud to have known you.it's only right that you feel upset i did when i lost a friend at the hands of suicide. at first it's painful but u just have to think that he would'nt of wanted you to be sad.
