I'd go a bit further back than that... started on a downward curve since around 2001-02. This past year definitely was terrible, and doesn't show any signs of getting better. SD is getting to be the only watchable show on a regular basis, and a lot of that is JBLs commentary being entertaining than the fluff matches.

2005/2006 the storylines were Ok.
There was a lot of repeating old storylines and a lot of big players were suspended (under the new drugs rule) or injured.
I think from Survivor Series to now the storlines have been brilliant. They've got some origniality back, hired new superstars and built some great feuds between wrestlers.
I'm really looking forward to this new Kennedy/Bastista (possibly Undertaker) feud and the Rated RKO feud with DX and Flair and Dykstra.
Looks like 2007 should be a good year for wwe and some good storylines too.

Raw's story line with DX and the Mcmans i thought was really good and its ok with Rated RKO but i think the rest of the story lines for row are ok. Smackdown's story lines are really bad though they need the story to make sense, they also keep putting the same people up against each other on every show which does get a bit boring after a while.

WWE has been crappy to me since the end of the attitude era, which is why I switched my preference to TNA. TNA is not without it's problems, but at least you can count on some really good wrestling from time to time.
Lets all be honest. WWE has been sh it with a capital S.

Last Monday's Raw was a pure joke. It was beyond "S". What kind of storyline can you build with Khali? 2nd, Rosie and Donald? What? This reminded me of something Vince Russo would pull with the end of WCW. Horrible.

It definitley isn't as good since Austin & the Rock have left.The attitude is missing now.It depends on the matches.Any storylines with Taker or DX i'd say brilliant.All the others i'd say just ok.

I think that for the most part the story lines have been very stupid and childish.

they have been OK, since I am still watching but hopefully they will be more exciting in the coming future

I guess its ok... WWF was better in my opinion cause the spirit of it was just..better.
