Telek (my BP) seems to enjoy it when i tickle him under the chin and when i stop he holds his head up in the air perfectly still as if he's in a daze...so is this an area he favors or am i just way thinking in to it too much?

Wow, that is so cute-it sounds to me you did indeed find his tickle spot!

In general snakes do not enjoy being touched around the head. How do you know your snake enjoys it? If he moves when you tickle him, he may actually be finding it irritating (and this expains why he stops when you stops, too!)

I'm not saying it's impossible he enjoys this, but snakes aren't like a cat or a dog. They don't like being petted.
