No, Lightscribe writing ONLY works on Lightscribe media!

Memorex printable allows you to print directly onto discs using direct printing ink jet printers. You have to buy the lightscribe CD. But you could try it and see what happens though. Currently, lightscribe in monochromatic, printing in one shade at a time, but soon it will come that they will print in colors. Also I presume you know the CDs are more expensive and takes about 30 minutes to complete a disc in lightscribe.
I forgot, the answer is no. You have to buy the right discs.

that depends on the size of the files. with 'MP3 CD' format it stores the songs as MP3 files. the disk holds 700mb... so if the files add up to less than 700mb they'll fit but if they dont then they wont... MP3 CD's are different from regular audio cd's and will only play on devices which support MP3 CD format!
