I believe that Uncle Owen and Ben Kenobi were brothers.

At the end of Episode III, 'Obi-Wan' dropped 'Luke' with 'Uncle Owen' and 'Aunt Beru'(not sure of the Aunt's name). These people were relatives of Shmi Skywalker (Vader's Mama), with little or no knowledge of the Anakin=Vader shenanigans. In the beginning of Episode IV, Luke asks incessantly about 'Ben Kenobi' (Ben was an assumed identity to protect himself, come to think of it, I wouldn't run around calling myself 'Obi-Wan' either). The strange part here, is that 'Uncle Owen' regards 'Ben' as an ******. Way to not keep the plot going G. Lucas!

They are just aquaintances really. They arent related. The only conncections to each other are through Annikin and Luke. Annikin was Owens and Annikin was trained by Obi Wan as was Luke.
Also Obi Wan gives Luke to Owen when he is a baby.

Obi wan knew lukes father, Aniken. Owen just raised luke. There was not relationship between obi wan and owen.

Owen was the son of the man Annakin's mother married. Ben was a family "friend", mentor to Annakin & returned to Tatooine with Annakin when Annakin was an adult and he and Ben met Owen then.

Uncle owen was lukes uncle. obi wan took luke to them when he had to go into exhile so darth vador could would not find him. obi went into hiding on tatoone so he could watch over luke while he was at his unckles house.
