I had unprotected sex Thursday with a guy I only knew for 15 min and the next night I had sex with his brother, stole a condom off my best friend, drank alcohol, 'borrowed' my mom's car while she was asleep because mine broke down next to a drug house, and smoked a lot of marijuana in the last week? Would it be hypocritial for me to attend mass tomarrow living the corrupt lifestyle that I am in?

Oh yeah and I also tried to seduce my ex-boyfriend's cousin who I used to mess around with all the time WHILE I was with my ex.

I go to Mass approxamitly once a month. I also pray every night. I feel a close relationship with God he gives me strength. Just because I'm not the
holiest virgin on the block, that shouldn't be judgement for me to no be permitted to receive holy communion!

Lol...heck you better go, you need to be closer to god than ever. Just don't take communion until you have purged these sins by confession.

Sorry, i didn't mean to sound judgmental, I was just suggesting church rules.

All Christians must keep the Sabbath Holy by attending mass services on a weekly basis. Perhaps, if you attended mass More often, your behavior would not be so atrocious.

You may or may not have a close relationship with God. He may or may not be providing you with strength. Such laims would be far more credible if you did a better job following a morally proper lifestyle.

You are always welcome to attend mass. The Church may not allow you to accept Communion, and rightly so, but you can and should still keep the Sabbath Holy.

When it comes to judging, this teaching applies to looking upon someone as worthy of salvation or condemnation to hell. These are the judgements reserved for God and God alone.

As for judgements concerning personal behavior, people can and do make judgement calls all day long.

It is morally unacceptable to have unprotected sex with a guy you only knew for 15 minutes. This is a violation of the Commandment Thou shall not Commit Adultry.

It is morally unacceptable to have sex with his brother the next night. This too constitutes adultry

It is morally unacceptable to steal condoms (anything for that matter) off your best friend (anyone for that matter). Thou shall not steal.

Depending on how old you are, it may have been wrong for you to consume alcohol. Regardless of age, when consuming alcohol, it must be done in moderation.

It was wrong for you to take your mom's car without her consent. This is a violation of Honor thy mother and thy father.

Smoking "a lot of marijuana" violates the commandment thou shall not kill. Yes, thou shall not kill. If you knowingly do anything to youself, or someone else, that is hazardous to your health, this constitutes a violation of the Commandment Thou shall not kill.

Lastly, seducing your ex's cousin is also adultry.

It would not be hypocritical for you to attend mass in spite of all this. Indeed, attend mass even more frequently because of it.

Seriously now, have I told you anything you did not already know? You seem to knew precisely what aspects of your behavior constitutes sin. Possessing this knowledge and chossing to sin in spite of it can constitute mortal sin - and that is why you are not allowed to take Communion at mass. To be in a state of mortal, and still accept Communion, would defile the Blessed Sacrament. That's no good.

You may not be the holiest person on the block, but that doesn't mean you have to stay that way. That's the great about being a Christian. There's plenty of room for redemption. If you are serious about this, and want to resume reception of Communion at mass - WEEKLY, that is, here is what you must do.

Go to Confession, most often on Saturday afternoons between 3-4pm, the Hour of Mercy as it is called. Confess everything you've detailed above, and whatever else you may be carrying as a burden. If you are honestly sorrowful for having sinned, your sins WILL be forgiven - all of them. And, you will be bestowed with graces that will help you confront your temptations so that you will sin less and less as time goes by.

You will not become an instant saint. Expect to be tempted. Expect to succumb to temptation. Always go back and receive Confession, again and again, again, as many times as it takes.

If you think you have a close relationship with God now, imagine how much closer this relationship will be if you endeavor to live a more morally proper and Christian lifestyle.

Yes. Everyone should participate in Mass on Sundays.

You probably should not receive the Eucharist (Holy Communion) until you have repented your sins and received the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Believe it or not, just about every church (Catholic and non-Catholic) is full of sinners trying to live a better life.

With love in Christ.
