I think it is. i mean, yeah it's nice, but like the apple iphone? thats kinda rediculous. there's already too much stuff that has a phone, mp3 player, internet (etc.) stuff on it. they keep coming up with the same exact stuff but different styles and looks. i think its rediculous, dont you think?

I agree. Mainly we are too dependent on technology. A little bit is fine, but you don't need the latest bells and whistles.

Yes you are correct, "Everything that can be invented has been invented". Therefore we should close the patent office. While it can not be confirmed this actually happened, legend has it that this statement was made by the head of the patent office to the president in 1899. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe a few things have been invented since 1899. So, while it certainly may seem that there is nothing else to invent, keep in mind it also seemed this way more than 110 years ago. I suspect 100 years from now people will look upon 2010 as being a very primitive time.

not really i just think technology gets updated too fast, people are too busy keeping up with whats news because every months theres the latest mp3 or phone or computer, its hard because as this changes so does the software. so its almost like they're forcing you to keep buying, so u do have a point, but its not we're too advanced, its just that we need to slow down.

I don't think it is too advanced, I think people are getting too stupid and dependent on it. Look how many people drive and use cell phones - who are they talking to and why can't they wait till they get home? I know so many people who can't function if their phone battery dies and it's not even like they are doctors or parents or anything that involves the use of a phone.

Look at all the people who die or get hurt when there's bad weather - they get so dependent on electric heaters, stoves - low tech things - they can't remember how to use fireplaces, how to melt snow for water, how to use candles for light.

Technology spoils us so bad we can't function. I think in the end, it's going to be the people who don't have the luxury of money for that Blackberry or iPod who make it.

Yeah, I can't keep up with it all. They're always coming up with something new.
