Different IQ test sites have different results. I took one test on Sparknotes and got 156, then I took another one on Tickle and only got 145. You should take several different tests and average them if you want an exact-exact IQ score. Average is around 110, so you're a bit on the higher side of average.

If your IQ is really 129 then you should know the answer the your own question. Unless for you 129 for you makes you so smart that you are actually an idiot. Kind of like my brother and sister they scored a 35 and a 32 on the ACT and they are both felons. I scored a 21 and make 40+ a year. Sometimes, actually more often than not, common sense is a lot better than IQ or book smarts.

I would say not to attribute too much to these IQ tests. Sure, they do measure quite accurately what they are supposed to. However, there are many limitations to them. Once you do a few, your 'IQ' tend to increase, as you learn how these tests are structured, but you do not really become more intelligent. There are several other limitations such as cultural biase and such, but suffice to say, they are not perfect.

More importantly, they do not truly reflect those other qualities that are crucial to success. Perseverance, maturity, social competence amongst others. These shortcomings of the IQ tests led to the development of EQ tests, Social Aptitude tests and so on. These complements to the basic IQ tests also have their limitations.

I have an IQ of 140 to 160 in most of the IQ tests that I have taken. However, I do not read too much into it. But if you persist, 129 is pretty good, perhaps top 20%? A true genius will be at least score 170 in most IQ test he takes.

Depending on the type of test taken, because many online tests for example, have very obscured scales. But for the most part, 129 is good.
