Only a trial from http://www.symantec.com , getting any software that's useful without a capital these days is hard.

You don't *need* Norton.
Download Avast! 4 - http://www.avast.com/
It's free (for a single PC in a home environment) and is a lot better than Norton in my opinion.
It's hard to believe that something that's such a good antivirus program is free, but it is. I have suggested it to a number of my friends and they're all happy with it. It keeps itself up to date and detects Virus' in real time, just like Norton.

I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

Download something called utorrent and go to www.mininova.org and download something called Nod 32 its much better... faster scanning rate, detects more viruses, etc

You can only get its evaluation version. Just use avast home version free from http://www.avast.com/
Its pretty good.
