I realise that they are both water signs , but I was wondering if there was anything more to it. And when I say compatible I mean as friends and/or roomates.

These two Water signs represent a calm ocean (Pisces) and the bottom of the sea (Scorpio). Scorpio can be kind of pessimistic while Pisces has a positive outlook on life most of the time. On the other hand, Scorpio tends to be the one with more energy, while Pisces is not as quick to take action. Neither of them is afraid of deep emotions and they can handle a lot more intensity than most of their friends. As a team, they are very intense but can form a deep attachment to each other that is full of caring and respect. ;)

For Scorpio, Pisces is the most compatible sign, and vice-verca.
And as you know, they are both water signs, thus they have the same tendencies in life. They are two of the most sensitive and psychic signs in the celestial sky, and when the two are together, they form some sort of magical and mysterious duo. Sometimes it's like the two signs can actually communicate just by looking at each other (i know it sounds crazy).
I am Scorpio, and i recently met a Pisces, and i am literally shocked at how good we are together. We are only friends for the moment, but we have a deep emotional connection, and we intuitively sense each other's moods, needs and fears. There's no need for words. I am a scorpio, and I once dated a pisces. We were both strongly attracted to each other physically and emotionally. Great match. The only problem was that me being a scorpio, I wanted to socialize outside of our relationship (I don't mean in a cheating way, but to be with friends). She tended to be too dominating and controlling, at times I felt that being with her, I had no life outside of our relationship. I felt suffocated. She even tried to keep me away from my parents, sisters and immediate family, wanted to know about my whereabouts like every minute when I was out of her sight. Other than that she treated me like a king. Yes, they are extremely compatible if you (the scorpions) want to give up their freedom. Good Luck.

This is the second time someone asked this very same question. Since you did not see it, I will tell you that most of the answers you will see will be in the affirmative. I too agree that these two signs are highly compatible. Not only as in friends and/or roommates, but as life-long partners.
