okay. i went to beauty school and everything, but we never really learned much about rosacia. my cheeks are ALWAYS red, no matter how much makeup i put on. ive tried all the brands, the only one that sort of works is bare minerals. are there any skin creams or anything that get rid of this?

Physicians formula brand has a green foundation. Mix it in your palm with your reg. foundation. (be sure to use moisturiser first or it will cake) Apply to the red areas and then apply your regular foundation. Blend well, this look can be obvious.

Are you sure it's rosacia? If you think it is, you should probably see a dermatologist. I have really red cheeks too that get super red when I get warm. I use bare escentuals minerals and that works pretty well but I follow it up with Benefit's Bluff Dust. It's a lemony-yellow powder that helps neutralize the red and works well.

When i use to do make up my favorite product for redness was called "mellow yellow" but any yellow base will help. As for getting rid of it unfourntalty no either learn to live with it or learn to cover it.

I don't know about creams, but have you tried a foundation that has a yellow undertone and apply that, other than that, maybe you should learn to love your rosie-ness!

water, darling, drink lots of water. and always apply sunscreen of at least 15 spf., even in the middle of the winter, you always need uv protection. keep your face temperature cool by applying ice to it as much as possible. keep it moisturized as well. best routine is:

morning-wash face thoroughly;;apply sunscreen.
mid-day-ice it.
night-wash face;;lotion.

good luck :-)
