VoIP with a V.90/V.92 dial-up modem will result is less than desirable performance

I would go with at least a ISDN BRI or greater connection especially if you are going to be downloading files, etc. during telephone conversations...

No, modems generally don't work well with VOIP.

can? for sure you can..

voip = voice over internet protocol

you need microphone at ur side to talk to the others, if not it will only be one way communication, you listen but you cant talk, you can type back as instant messaging tho

i believe with normal 56K modem connection ... the voice you hear from the other side is unclear..... jagging and things

generally not as it will jitter and be bad qaulity to see if you can use voip go to http://myspeed.visualware.com/voip/
