Once, a friend of mine told me she was a vampire, after we started going out. At first I thought she was just trying to freak me out. But one day I was at her house and on her face it seemed like there were small black dots slowly apearing on her face; when i said something about it she got up and ran to the bathroom to cover it with make-up. She told me alot about vampires and her so-called clan. She told me that vampires don't die from sun-light, holy frelics, stake in the heart, no, she told me the only way they died was from the holy touch. I'm not very much afraid if they are real. But it has me questioning alot of things, like what happend to Cane when he killed his brother Able? It is said that God put a curse on him and anyone who killed him would die seven deaths over but it never specified what happend to Cane nor did the bible discribe the curse, did he die or did he start the term "vampire" and lived forever roming the earth giving people their share of the curse?

Vampires are among us just probably not what you think.....
A Vampire is simply a being that can't create enough of it's own spiritual energy to support itself, so it must get it from another source. They are believed to have a hole or damaged spot in their astral/spiritual body. This is a lot like a paper cup with a hole in it. You continue to pour water into it but it slowly leaks all of it out. No matter how much water you pour into it, the cup never stays full. This is the technical definition of what exactly a Vampire is. So most feed on raw energy of the spirit some do drink blood....they are not immortal but some do heal rapidly and rarely get sick....some even live for a while longer...They also do tend to be photosensitive so sun hurts but doesn't kill...garlic and holy water don't do anything but because many have really keen senses the smell of garlic may be unpleasant....they die just like anyone else in the same ways....
Some are "goth" and like to dress like a "movie vampire" a lot don't. The ones you've seen on "The secret lives of Vampires" aren't that great either...not bad but not true to their condition...they try to play it up a bit for TV and not to inform the public...Vampirism is really more a a burden than anything.... Also the consumption of blood(which a lot vampires don't do either) is not recreational. It's how they get the extra energy they need to survive...let me explain more
Most vamps would classify themselves as either Sanguinarian(blood drinking) or Psi(energy draining) both are different ways of accomplishing the same thing...getting prana or life force energy to keep them well...though some may claim the sang and psi are different they are one in the same..it's just the different ways they prefer to feed that sets them apart...nothing more. sang or psi is a choice. any Vampire can feed on any type of energy...
They are not role playing or crazy..thy just have a spiritual deficiency ...they're not sexy or psycho killers or anything like in movies...they're people and are just as varied and diverse and unique as any other group of people
So they are real to an extent but not the way you are asking...I don't know what's up with your girlfriend

There are people actually taht go by the vampires. They drink blood and can drain people's energy. It's an ancient form magic and takes practice. They have their secrets. But vampires that are immortal and the whole garlic thing. I doubt. Now, i don't believe in vampires because they would have me running the other direction, but you never know. I mean your girlfriend there seems a little out of it. The black stuff was probaly dirt or something. But God is mysterious and we do have alot of unanswered questions. So basically I honestly do not believe in the hollywood type of vampire or any for that matter, but there's research to be done and etc. But like i said there are people that practice the "vampire stuff".

sorry your friend is going through what grown ups call searching for your identity. She is rebelling and looking for attention and is trying to "freak" people out, I am sure she will grow out of it, the black stuff was probably a zit or dirt, hopefully she won't drink the blood of others in her clan(they do this sometimes) she could get aids or vomit. The Vampire myth came from the historic person Vlad the Impaler as they called him a Romanian prince a very interesting story you should google it, as for cane and able I can't say any thing more than a story for kids at bed time so they stop beating the crap out of their siblings. Your friend is a follower and does not have the self esteem to make her own life and decisions.

Theres an animal called vampire. It´s like a bat.
As for people, well, too much Bram Stocker and Anne Rice over there. There´s no such thing as inmortal people who suck your blood at night and bla bla bla.
What i once heard is that practice of "Vampirism" exists, or at least existed and it had something to do with Voodoo and that sort of thing, which in my opinion, your head has to be too messed up to practise that stuff. And this Vampire thing involved drinking blood but people who practised it got AIDS. So maybe your friend is getting into some weird thing like that but she´s not actually a vampire.
Naaaa.

well for one, garlic, crosses don't even harm vampires. Screen writers made that up looong ago. And vampires have a reflection. The show up in pictures. Secondly, If your a vampire, then your fang teeth or w.e will be major sharp. :P And thirdly, you might not belive, but im a vampire. My name was originaly Beth, but I got bored of that about 20 years ago, so I changed my name to Zaria. [=

You aren't ready to know the truth yet. When you are, you'll know. Then contact me if you wish. I have answered way too many questions like this. And none of those people really wanted to know the truth. Maybe you're different, I don't know. But most people think vampires are fictional creatures, and in a sense they are, at least the Hollywood vampires are fictional. Ignorance is only bliss until you find out how ignorant you were. And then and only then are you ready to learn the truth.

I just watched a whole documentary on this about a month ago on the discover or learning channel. It was based on the original dracula - yes he existed. I forget his real name because 'dracula' is a hyphen of what his real name was but I think it was in translvania. There is still a curse, the camera even today go blurry and people hear and see ghostly appearances when they visit.
There is also a big tie in with - I think mary queen of scots or 'bloody mary'. She supposedly bathed in the blood of the slaughtered - her mission was based on the catholic vs protestant wars in the past.
Some have even linked King Henry 8th or Marie Antionette with vampires simply because they had some barbaric, unconventional, or unreligious (at the time) methods.
I don't belief or disbelief in vampires but I do personally see ghosts, so I don't deny your feelings. You need to do your research in libraries and come to your own and best decisions.
If you get bitten while doing your investigating, then come see me cause I will take you with open arms just to know the truth even if that means being bit. lol.
Unless you become a werewolf which I don't want to be nor die for so you are on your own for that one. sorry. That's too barbaric and unglamorous for me.

Its an underground subculture made up of attention-seeking teenagers who play make believe. For most its a phase. Unfortunately I've seen some carry it right into adulthood, getting ever older while claiming immortality. It's sad really.

I believe vampires could very well be real. It's funny how people can dismiss their existence without doing the research.

Vampire bats exist...and in this whole wide wonderful world there are people that get off on drinking blood. But do vampires exist that turn into other creatures? Hell no! There are no vampires like that...nor are there wolfmen, or ghosts, or evil spirits. There is no devil, there is no god...Christian or otherwise. There is no such thing as bad luck or good luck. I can't believe intelligent people actually believe in all this hocum...if I'm wrong I want God to take me now....NOW! C'mon God...I'm still waiting....NOW! ........................................Okay......I'm still here....and if I don't die I'll be here tomorrow. God...one more chance...take me. Okay Devil...your turn....you can have me...NOW! ......... Nothing happened...I'm still here....Okay Allah...your turn..................................See? I'm still here.
