How can you even compare the two? Bob Dylan has been around for much longer, He is actually talented, the lyrics to his songs and his poetry are beautiful, intelligent and you can actually discuss and appreciate them, Craig David's songs/lyrics are just fluff, catchy R&B guaranteed to get radio play whereas Bob Dylan writes for the music, not radio play or the critics, he has built up a HUGE fan base over the years and is still incredibly talented decades later, Craig David will be forgotten in less than ten years by the majority of fans and critics.

This isn't even comparable. Bob Dylan is among the best modern songwriters, with meaningful and groundbreaking songs. Craig David is a nobody who had a single #1 hit, who makes cookie-cutter hip-hop music.
It's like comparing Michael Bublé to Frank Sinatra. Panic! at the Disco to Yes. Pussycat Dolls to ABBA.
It's ridiculous. Personal taste is one thing, and I fully respect that, but to say Dylan's song suck is simply ridiculous and renders void any argument that person could make on the topic.

Bob Dylan is a genius and legend... for a good reason. Visit Dylan's website and read all of his lyrics. He's a poet with a huge body of work. He's 60 now (I think) and is still touring. Craig David may be talented, but they really can't/shouldn't be compared, and I doubt C.D. would want to be compared to Dylan.

That is a laughable assertion. Even if he is less popular than Craig David (and in the UK he might be), Dylan is still much, much better. Dylan wrote "Tangled Up in Blue", what has Craig David done?

Well, you can't compare between the two. Different genres, different countries, just different. I'd go with Craig David. His music is interesting. I mean, Bob Dylan's cool too, but an image like Craig in the UK isn't as common as it is in the US.
