i have a 94 civic hatch, its got a d16z, i think thats the original engine in all si, well the problem is that its got 200,000miles and its prob going to die soon. plus i want to get i to the whole japanese car world......notice my screen name CR¨Z28¨ previous camaro owner....but here in spain there is absolutely no way to have a V8 unless you are the mayor of Marbella......any way im trying to find a engine swap thats not going to be too expencive and that ill be happy with...i want power....but i dont want turbos....the spanish gov is very strict about mods....but when i take my car to get inspected they never check the motor´s serial number....any way im just trying to get some ideas so give me yours....im also expecting to get some dumbass answers....but thanks anyway.

u can get a b16, b18, b20, k20, or k24

all of the b-serries engines will dop in with no problem....
the K serries might need a lil modification to drop in....

for cheep h.p. i suggest u go with the b16.... they love boost, and every1 makes parts for them....

the B20 out of the Crv with any B16 head on it will do 200 hp you wiil be better off with the B16 obd1 head on a B20 block this will be better than a LS vtec or if you wanna go with something to fit right in will be the just think of your light civic with more than 160 hp should do 14s 1/4 mile if you can get the motor sent to ya go with a jdm motor try www.tigerjapanese.com or www.jdmsource.ca/ for the motor i get my motors from them .

the best would be k20 but swaps are around 6 grand the second best would be a h22 and third the b16/18 which are more straight forward swaps

b20 v-tec sounds about the best for value and performance.
k20 is just too expensive for us weekend warriors!
u can also try LS-vtec

um you cant fit a frickin v8 in a honda period. okay anyway try the motor out of an rsx cant think of the name to save my life...k20a i cant remember...
