I dont mean swaying back n' forth in the middle of the dance floor but swing, waltz, salsa entc. I dont know about you but I find it an extreme turn on if a guy knows how to dance!! What is the opinion from the guys side? Is is something most men would like to do or not really?

As far as I know, most guys stereotypically think of formal/ballroom dancing as wimpy. Don't get me wrong, guys would do formal dancing but only if it is necessary. Making a hobby out of it is considered unorthodox for a guy. This is why professional male ballroom dancers are most of the time assumed to be gay (which is ignorant!)
I personally like formal dancing moreso than club dancing but that's just me. Sure, other guys may consider it wimpy but if girls dig it then nothing else matters!

while there is a lot to be said for snuggling up with a woman on the dance floor and just swaying to the music i must admit i would enjoy an ability shared by the likes of a fred astair or gene kelly.

I wish I knew how to ballroom dance! It's mesmerizing.
Only no one teaches in my area so I'd have to travel many a kilometer to take lessons.
I don't think most men would warm up to the idea, but you never know. Some might be adventurous.

I went to dance to learn the tango, the waltz, and got a little swing mixed in. In college our football coach made us all take ballet....dont know if it worked or not but oh well.

Some men enjoy it. Swing is fun because you get to wear the suit and hat and go crazy. Salsa is also fun because of the scenery :)

I would like to learn ballroom dance but I am waiting for a g/f and I will learn with her. Well that's the plan, I figure it would be fun that way.

Most of us guys dont like to ballroom dance - those of us who do are into showing off how well we can dance.

I think most guys would need to have a girl 'drag' them into it to get started. I don't think many straight guys are gonna ask their buddies: "Hey! Instead of playing softball this summer... let's take ballroom dancing lessons!"

if it was like slow ballroom dancing, ok its romantic, that makes sense... never done it but it seems alright to me
but all that salsa etc. like dancing with the stars... gay gay gay!!!!!
