I thought my period was coming but it never did. I was wondering is this normal or do you think something is wrong?? Also lately I have been hungry more. I would eat then few minutes later its like nothing is in my stomache and my stomach growls and I am scared to eat because I dont want to gain unnecessary pounds. Please positive feedback

Please see your doctor soon. I think your symptoms sound quite similar to what I have. Dark red or brown blood is "old" blood. I have been diagnosed with having chronic ovarian cysts and have a very fluctuating appetite and menstrual cycle. Some days I could eat all day long, I will sometimes eat twice as much as I need and other times I have no appetite at all and feel like I would throw up if I did. My doctors say this could be because of hormone imbalance and partially because of my acid reflux as well. If you think you may have acid reflux there are many products you can get without a prescription that should help a lot.

I have had cysts that have ruptured on me and they are quite painful so I suggest you see a doc asap because if left to rupture on their own cysts can cause a lot of damage. I have been told that it may be difficult for me to become pregnant if I can at all now. It's fairly simple for them to tell if you have cysts or not by doing a basic ultrasound. My doctors are going to start treating me with hormone therapy and see how that goes. Becoming pregnant will relieve symptoms too but only while pregnant. Another option is birth control that will regulate your periods (pill) or any other form that prevents you from having a period.

My doctors also believe some of my symptoms get worse with stress so take note of everything so your doctor can properly and more accurately diagnose and treat you. Take note of what, if anything, makes your appetite better or worse. Keep track of any stress and how it affects your symptoms. Remember there is "good" stress as well as "bad".

In the meantime drink LOTS of water and eat plenty of foods rich in iron and fruits and vegetables.

Good Luck to you and I hope everything turns out ok :)

I really don't think you are pregnant but I think you should see a doctor about these things.

It's not totally unheard of to just skip a period, but not usually two. Are you normally very regular???

When your stomach "growls" are you hungry or do you just think this growling is the product of hunger? Often our food digesting will make that rumbly growly sound. You may have some acid reflux, that's often also mistaken for hunger and could also cause the growl sound.

Please see an OB/GYN about your cycle.

and no, this is not at all a stupid question.

It IS possible for pregnancy tests to give false negatives, but that happens much more frequently very early in the pregnancy, and should not happen after 4 weeks or so. It is completely possible to miss a period due to stress or hormonal changes, especially if you have been taking hormonal birth control. I would take another test in a week or two, but my feeling is that after 5 tests, one of them would have come back positive if you were actually pregnant.

get to a gyno and have a thorough exam .Don't put it off any number of problems can cause your symptoms but none are to be taken lightly. What meds are you taking? get am m.ri., ultrasound and physical.Blood tests might reveal something too.
