Ok...I have this problem. Whenever I am really stressed, I pull at my eyebrows. Silly me, I pulled out wayyyy too many and now look rather stupid. I am using an eyebrow pencil and am trying to make myself stop pulling at them, but how long will it take for them to grow back to normal?

IT SHOULD TAKE ABOUT TWO WEEKS OR SO. THEY GROW BACK REALLY FAST.

That actually is a disorder called Trichotillomania (people who pull out their eyebrows or eyelashes, or other body hair) that might need to be addressed by a professional if you feel like it's a problem in your life. When I say "disorder," I am definately NOT telling you that you have some weird scary psychological problem, but I was a psychology major for 3 years and have read a lot about that sort of thing. What I suggest you do is talk to your doctor about it. If it turns out not to be Trichotillomania, do everything you can to stop doing it, and schedule regular brow waxing appointments for every 3-4 weeks. It will shape your brows and make you feel good about pampering yourself. (I only suggest this because they reccommend that people who can't stop biting their nails get manicures becuase they're less likely to destroy them if they're beautiful.) For now, they will grow back to normal in about a month. Some people's grow faster, but eating lots of protein, massaging the area, and exercising actually will stimulate the hair growth.

Girl you have OCD people with this disorder can pull out some or all of the hair on their bodies including eyebrow hair. (saw it on Tyra Banks Show) If you keep pulling it will never grow back. It could take as long as 6months if you just leave it alone.

They should grow in about 6 weeks. Also if you can afford it an eyebrow tint can help hide there thinness (use to have them when my eyebrows use to fall out and it helped)

If you don't pull at them anymore, a couple of weeks and they'll be back.
Try seeing your doctor or therapist to get help with your stress, though ;-) They can maybe get you some medicine or show you other techniques to relieve your stress.

oh wow, that sucks. : ( I say pluck the fuzzy one till you like the way it seems (use ice to numb the discomfort) and purchase your self some spectacular eyebrow filler shadows and liners. There are alot of vids on YouTube that teach a thank you to fill in eyebrows that are too mild or skinny.

Some vitamin E might help too, like I stumbled across Sephora's non-wetproof eye make-up remover and after a couple days of using it the lower area under my brows was out of CONTROL.

i have my own experience which my doctor suggested me. he told take a Vitamine E tablet and LD tablet, make both of them powder and mix them with alittle water and apply it over eyebrows for an hour per day. it has a great result, try it.
