I did ballet for almost 10 years and I still couldn't do the splits. I always wanted to, but it takes a lot of time and energy. If you really want to then you have to make time to do a lot of concentrated stretching. Try doing your school reading while you stretch. I do that sometimes.

First, the bad news. It is not safe to try to stretch your legs so that you will be able to do the splits in 5 days (unless you are a couple inches away from already doing them, then MAYBE it's possible).
The good news is that with a lot of stretching and more time, you can definitely learn to do the splits, but it does take time. Trust me, it'll take much longer to heal if you pull or tear a muscle trying to do it too fast than if you "stretch it out" a little each day (no pun intended). LOL :) It only takes a few minutes each day, and can be done while you do other things, or while you take a little break in between your studies.
Here are some stretching tips from the website below:
*Warm up first. Stretching muscles when they're cold increases your risk of pulled muscles. Warm up by walking while gently pumping your [legs], or do a favorite exercise at low intensity for five minutes.
*Hold each stretch for at least 30 seconds. It takes time to lengthen tissues safely. Hold your stretches for at least 30 seconds — and up to 60 seconds for a really tight muscle or problem area. That can seem like a long time, so wear a watch or keep an eye on the clock to make sure you're holding your stretches long enough. For most of your muscle groups, if you hold the stretches for at least 30 seconds, you'll need to do each stretch only once.
*Don't bounce. Bouncing as you stretch can cause small tears (microtears) in the muscle, which leave scar tissue as the muscle heals. The scar tissue tightens the muscle even further, making you even less flexible — and more prone to pain.
*Focus on a pain-free stretch. If you feel pain as you stretch, you've gone too far. Back off to the point where you don't feel any pain, then hold the stretch.
*Relax and breathe freely. Don't hold your breath while you're stretching.
*Stretch both sides. Make sure your joint range of motion is as equal as possible on each side of your body.
It can be done! Good luck to you! :)

It's not something you just decide to pick up in a weekend. If you want to keep an ability like this, you have ato change your life style.
That means constant stretching: morning, evening, before and after excercising. Then you have to dedicate another 20 minutes a day focusing on just the splits part of stretching. It will go away if you don't do it on a regular basis.

depends on how far down you can do the splits already. if you are almost there then have someone pull out your legs gently or place then end ogf one foot on a stair as you stretch. But if you are not already close to doing the splits then you cant learn in five days. I've been doing dance for 5 years and I still cant so the splits fully.

lie on your back and tick one leg into your bum (backside ,*** watever!) get someone else to push the other leg towards your face. you have to push against the other person and dont let that foot get near your face. repeat ten times on each leg twice a day each time starting closer to your face. Hope this helped!!
