Yes, I attended Catholic grade schools and High School, attending Mass was mandatory for all Catholic students. I still attend mass till this day. I find it brings a sense of peace to my life although I do not believe with all the man made interpretations that the Catholic Church has imposed upon it's followers. Do not follow blindly.
