It worries me for two reasons. First, I worry about losing my own job. Second, I dislike having to speak to someone from Asia when I call a vendor for customer service or software support.

Atleast you want to work, so my thumbs up to you. So many people here in Australia are out of work but the young ones all want professional jobs or Executive positions without an education or training. Then if you ask them to do work such as telemarketing or factory work , even driving a cab they don't even want to imagine belittling themselves. I realise not all people are like this but the majority are. So these types of jobs are given to skilled and educated foreigners or people who would take any job. In yur case I feel terribly sorry for you. can you improve your skills and get a better job? God Bless.

Geographies are changing, its more than a globalisation era where offshoring is the current wave. Its really bad to lose your job to someone else. But as they say "Innovate or Die". If times require us to change, we should change. Always think innovatively, think and try your hand at something new which can help you get your job back or maybe get you another job. Give the time a race.

I think it is good for the future of are country. As more and more jobs that require little or no skill get outsourced Americans will be forced to get higher technical skills to find work. Leaving are country with better resources to draw from. (people)

I love it. Why? Because one day they will realise the translations and communications are failing badly causing more time in proof reading and communicating. When they realise this they will want us back and when they do they will pay that little bit more. Believe me it will come crashing down.

I wouldn't mind if there are opportunities in expanding. The countries' culture is a major factor too.
