A friend of mine had the same dilemma. We found a site that listed law schools by state. I hope this could be of some use. It is the link for the state of Texas.

You can't beat UT Austin for its prestigious law school or convenient location, if you want a law school in or near Austin.

Univ of Texas - Austin's law school, obviously. Best one in the state.
