It depend on your skill set. There are many opportunities for internet based businesses. For example, do you have a product to sell? A book? Medicines? Or do you have some special skills? Programming, web design, Search Engine Optimisation?
The solution depends on your skill sets. If you are looking for simple data entry type jobs, or multi-level marketing type jobs where you get enrolled by paying some money and then try to enroll others as members below you to get your money back and some more, be careful. There are probably genuine companies but there are a lot of scamsters too.

Everytime someone asks that kind of question I see people soliciting their web links with scam sites or sites that don't really work be careful of who sends you those BS'd links.
