Hello dear!
First, I do not want to believe in anything! We better depend on knowledge!
I think that regularly, the broader the smile the "cleaner" the heart! For the same wound, others feel terrible while others just overpass it! Thus, it is more than absolute numbers and percentages! People's consciousness is very complicated!
Nevertheless, we should enjoy every moment, it is unique and never returns!

Not at all. In addition, there are many people whose professions demand that they have a broad smile (sales, etc) at all times. They are literally trained to smile. Models for example.
I have met people in my life who I knew where over their head in real horrific situations, but could smile like anyone. The reverse is true too. But some people just cannot help that they wear their hearts on their sleeves. It's genetics.

Oh Ghada - I hope this isn't your outlook on life.
No - I believe the broader the smile, the happier the person.
I always like to take the positive view until proved wrong.

when one is happy, the brain gives a signal to the face to smile, this "genuine smile" triggered by real emotions causes your entire face to smile (your mouth, your eyes and your forehead), if a smile is fake only the mouth muscles are prompted by the brain to move. Hence, one can smile as wide as they could to hide their wounds but it can be told if it's real or not, if you know how.
