I want a pet. But I don't want a boring pet, like a fish. I want a fun, playful pet. Like a ferret. It also must be good with kids.

A Sugar Glider. But they do require long-term commitment. They are hell on wheels (and everything else)

Get a cute teacup poodle. They are small cute friendly can go everywhere are friendly, and its good for family life. If you want something more wild I say go with hamsters. But if you do dont put a female and a male hamster in the same cage. I know from experience

I'm going to have to agree with the person who said to get a rat! I have 11 rats! Rats are GREAT pets! Definitely!!

Consider Guinea Pig, They are great with kids and can live up to seven years old

kitties are good....they dont bite... and i taught mine not to scratch so maybe you can do that....some cats are curious like mine and they do silly things....alot of kids like kittens ;)
