Humans are designed to be omnivores, morality has nothing to do with it. The teeth and digestive systems of humans are definitely best suited to eat a balanced diet of meat and vegetables.

The Venus Fly Trap is considered a carnivorous plant and it captures flys and insects and then closes tightly around its meal . It then covers it with digestive juices and this dissolves the inners parts of the insect leaving just the exoskeleton which is blown off by the wind or is washed away by rain. It gets all its nutrients from the soft part of the fly or insects. The digestive process takes 5-12 days and then the Venus Fly Trap reopens.
The Venus Flytrap can digest meat, however, feeding the flytrap
pieces of meat will result in the meat becoming moldy, diseased and eventually will kill the plant.
It is also very important to note that the actual movement of the fly triggers the Venus Fly Trap to close tightly and also simulates it's digestive system.

I agree with the posters who say that vegetarianism does make better use of our limited resources. I became a vegetarian about two years ago when I found out how abused animals are when killed for food. And I justify my vegetarianism based on the fact I'm not contributing to this abuse. But that's not the only reason. I think it's healthier. Most meat these days has hormones and antibiotics I'd prefer staying away from. And for those who say you can't get enough protein from veggies, you're wrong. Today's meat and chicken substitutes for vegetarians are protein equivalent to the real thing........and without the harmful additives!

Vegetarians how different diets. Some do eat turkey or chicken. But not beef. And some will completely not eat meat at all. It all depends on the person.

Some creatures are meant to eat vegetation only. Others only meat. The best way to tell what you are genetically programmed to eat is to look at your teeth. Humans have incisors which are meant to tear flesh and molars which are meant to grind vegetation. Therefore, we are meant to eat both - nothing like steak with a side of asparagus!

agreed. eating meat is natural for humans. our bodies have evolved to support a meat + non-meat diet. i don't see how you can say it's immoral when we can't help how our bodies were designed. that's kind of like saying having sex is wrong when our bodies say it's oh so right ;)
and how can they say it's moral for a carnivore animal to eat meat, but not for humans to eat meat?
