NL: It should come down to Pujols or Howard again in 07...but to choose a couple darkhorses, I think Soriano is going to put up monster stats and fit in nice with the Cubs...Jason Bay, not a house-hold name but could break-out big this year and he's Canadian.
Logical Pick: Pujols

AL: Surprised that fellow Canadian Morneau won it last year, the award will probably be won by someone on the Yankees this year. Big hopes for Vernon Wells to win title. Vlad Guerrero has the chance to take MVP every year.
Logical Pick: A-Rod

With Ryan Howard's monster season, he may win it again next year. He crushes the ball and is one of the big reasons the Phillies did so well once they got rid of Abreu. Pujols is always in the running, he hits .330, get's 180-200 hits, and he gets 40 homers. Todd Helton is also a contender, we haven't heard about him as much since he got injured, he still hit .302 last year and we've seen him hit over .350. Alex Rodriguez might do well also. He is a great ballplayer who is unfortunately does not fit in well with the Yanks. If he can put up an '05 or '03 campaign he is a big contender. Big Papi has also been in the running the last few years, the Red Sox really need him, they aren't nearly as good without his power.

If the yankees win the world series like I think they will. I would have to say bobby abreau. I like how he works the count and makes pitchers throw a lot of pitches. Hits for average and power. He reminds me of paul oneil. Great hitter.
