To the corporations that portray their products with stero-type people like that rice Uncle so and so.. and that pancake mix and the porter on that cream of wheat box. Do these companies still think that blacks are fat black maids or porters or man-servants.

ok, you do realize you'er white, right? so why would you care about how corporations may be portraying black people in a negative light. Black people don't care so why do you?

These are corporate icons that represent Billions of dollars in sales .Uncle Ben for example enticed the world to believe that no one knew how to make better rice than this black chef. It worked . Aunt Jemima sold syrup because people felt safe with a black Nanny behind the product. It wasn't via racism as much as psychology that created these sales phenomenon.

They have been that way for years now...if they were white would it make a difference? If they were white would you be saying there are never any black people on food products? If seems no matter what is done is is never right. Should we just start counting and say one for you and one for them and one for the other color and one for the other color. one for the baptist one for the cath. one for the jews... Where will it end? I do not think they think that. Matter a fact I am sure there is a lot of thought that goes into the pictures on products....have you noticed there are no humans on the food products much anymore?

im black and i can really care less. when it comes to that syrup, aunt jamama was on the label. i dont think the corporation was trying to bring black people down. when slavery ended black women would work in rich white people's houses as servants and cooks. and they cooked some really good food!!!! also they looked like that. so in order for a product to be sold it kinda symbolizes that this big soulful black women can cook and it mighty good!! so basically the label is screaming to the audience "if she cooked it it must be good"!!

there are many blacks that oppose to many stereo-types on a daily basis, not just on products also in media, television, but a lot of times it is pushed by the wayside, but if we keep on complaining one day they will realized it is wrong. You can't change the past but you can make the future better.

Why don't white people object....? To comedians such as: Eddie murphy, Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle for making fun of white people and portraying them in a negative way? Do these comedians think all whites are nerdy, weak and insecure!

This has become acceptable, and we haven't looked to change, we just know it taste good. Not to mention, why do we still take jobs in movies as comedians, and always the first to get killed, as well as parts as uneducated people; because we have lost or never gained a sense of shame, or humility. Its conditioning, centuries of conditioning, that will never change.

why do you care, you look white from you avatar. Obviously you are trying to insite some sort of racism because if blacks haven't complained why should you. Perhaps blacks aren't as petty as you would like to have everyone in the world believe.

for the same reason white people don't. why create the problem? having more colors in ads isn't a bad thing. now, if it was a truly racist ad, i'm sure someone would object.
