Maybe try a pregnancy test - you can get them from the chemist

it is quite likley that you are pregnant, i'd get a test from the chemist - the clear blue digital ones are best, they can work from 4 days before your period is due - if the test is neg. did you have a really busy and stressful christmas and new year - stress and worry can sometimes cause you to miss a period or two. if all turns out well and you don't want babies i'd try a new contraceptive - the injection is good because you only have it once every 3 months and you don't have to worry about getting pregnant - quite often this will cause the periods to stop. good luck and all the best.

If you are more than 2 months late sweetie than picking up a home pregnancy test will tell you for sure. If it's positive than call your Dr. If it's negative, then you should go back to the Dr because something is going on unless you often miss periods as some women do. I hope this help and good luck. P.S-- they dont do x-rays on pregnant women.

If you are female, have had male parts near your lower female parts on occasion and have not had your "family room" (cervix) removed or renovated (ovaries removed), then yes, it is possible your are preggers. How likely, it all depends.. Go to the grocery store or pharmacies, get one of the home preg tests.. they check for homorone levels in the body (blood and urine) and will tell if you have a +1 to your family.. These tests are about 90-98% accurate. expecially if you are over 3 weeks preg. Also keep the doctor appointment, they can be much more accurate, and if it is not "with child" there can be other things that might be wrong.

There are a few things that could cause you to miss your period. One would be stress. Certain medical conditions. There is a possiblity that you are pregnant. Some women do not get any of the regular symptoms. If you did not find your answer here try typing in a search engine missed period. It will bring up multiple sites that may help find a reason why.
Best of luck to finding your answer.

to check for std's they can do a swab and a blood test (for hiv) and if you don't use protection, there is always a possibility that you could be... you should be able to take a home test if it's been that long. they have ones that can tell 5 days after your missed period. that way you don't have to have the anticipation that comes with waiting for your appointment... good luck

If you haven't had a period you are probably pregnant. You do not have to have any symptoms to be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test and when you go to the doctor ask if there could be any underlying problems if you are not pregnant that could be causing your missed period.

If your late then you might be. To find out if you are get a test for a local store but, if you dont trust them you can go to your doctors office and have a blood test done.
