ok im 38 weeks preggo with my first baby and i havent lost my plug. (says my ob) im hardly dialated to 1...and still not efaceing.. what the heck?? am i doing something wrong? i feel like this baby is NEVER going to come out.

The waiting is painful isn't it!!! And the not knowing when it will be can drive a person crazy.
Have you tried some natural ways to speed up labour? Walking, sex, spicy food, castor oil, nipple stimulation, etc. Of course, some say the don't work, but they can't hurt (and some will be fun)!
And there are still 2 weeks to the due date, it might be awhile. Relax as much as possible!

well your not exactley due yet so calm down. with my first i walked around dialated at one for 2 weeks. and pregnancy is 40 weeks hun not 38 but any the baby could come as early as 38 or as late 42 weeks which is normal. my first baby was 2 wks and 3 days late my second baby was 6 days late and now im pregnant again at 37 weeks and am just waiting lol. i know when you get to the end of your pregnancy it does feel like your going to be pregnant for ever. but calm down be patient and remember it will come out when its ready. it cant stay in there for ever even tho it feels that way.

If you can try doing squats, sex, nipple sitmulation, walking, cleaning, warm baths, back rubs and Drinking lots of raspberry ice tea (the last one is what my sister did and it worked) Good Luck!!

lol, I felt that way at 38 weeks too, but then i got induced... it seems like forever...
