Instead of blaming politicians for everything that is happening, each one of us should ask what we are going to do? Why dont Professors, Doctors, Engineers, Scientists enter politics and become the part of the govt. It is not only politicians but many of us donot practise what we expect others to do. We expect our wife to be a sincere & good wife. But we try to have girl friends or extra-marital affairs. We hate to give bribe but when some Supplier offers us a commission to approve a Purchase Order, we try to demand more from him. The change should come from each one of us. Maybe with this Yahoo Answers groups we will form a political party, start our action right now. Also the present situation has become a complex one and we cant change it in a short time. It may take many years or generation to change. But we should initiate now so that at least next generation will start seeing the change. Today each one of us have become more selfish. If our family is happy we are satisfied with that. Like that Terrorism was once thought as not our problem. Today it is affecting everyone by Traffic Jams, Flight delays etc.

When the American voters wake the hell up and become free thinking Americans and not Democratic or Republican robots pulling the same lever year after year. The only way to force these politicians to do something is to vote them out and put in a new system called for the people and by the people - They work for us we do not work for them.

SEE ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW is most of our politicians are still uneducated come from a rural back ground there only dream cant study,so join politics make money .only way our politicians will practice what they preach only if they are educated know what is politics first have concern for well being for our nation rather than making money or young people like us enter politics set things right..

dude if u r from india u know as well as i do it aint gonna happen .the goddamn multiparty system makes it impossiblethat is with the assumption that our politians ever wante d to keep their promises bt they all become rather sincere arond election time
